Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Berkeley Animal Care Services. To register for one of our upcoming orientations, please first apply online and follow the directions to sign up for the orientation date that works best for you.
A few things to note:
- Volunteers must be at least 10 years old. Those 10-14 years must volunteer with an adult who has also completed an application and attended all trainings.
- Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one hour of volunteering per week for 6 months. We understand that things come up and vacations are planned but with limited staffing and resources we ask that you not volunteer if you cannot make a long-term commitment.
- The city is requiring that all volunteers provide proof of COVID vaccination. There is a place in your volunteer profile to upload your vaccination records.
