Animal Shelter Volunteer Orientation

Attend an orientation to become a volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Shelter. New volunteers attend 3-5 hours of training spread over a few weeks, with new classes starting twice each month.  Once training is completed, you may volunteer your time during any of our business hours, seven days a week.  There are no set schedules or shifts and you do not have to come the same time each week. We ask new volunteers to commit to a minimum of 1 hour per week for 6 months once training is completed.
