Indian Rock Park Tree Planting

Help us plant nine new native trees on the north side of Indian Rock Park. 

Connect with nature and community at our tree planting event in Indian Rock Park. We will plant smaller growing native trees (California buckeye, western redbud, manzanita, and ceanothus) to help add some habitat and flowers to the northern section of the park.

We plan to dig holes, play with tree roots, plant trees, and install support stakes. Feel free to come join with your moral support for growing the urban forest or play in the soil, planting trees with our Urban Forestry team. To join the planting, please wear closed-toed footwear and clothing ready to get a bit dirty. We will supply all tools.
