Free event for all ages. The City of Berkeley Music in the Park presents Morchestra to commemorate the reopening of John Hinkel Park. Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the restoration and modernization of the historic John Hinkel Park Amphitheater, and addition of a new picnic area and playground. Ribbon cutting will begin at 3pm.
Bring your families and loved ones to enjoy the afternoon with live jazz orchestra music. Morchestra will perform upbeat jazz and Latin tunes, perfect for a grand opening on a Saturday afternoon!

The 17-piece Morchestra jazz orchestra is a Berkeley-based band, led by arranger and guitarist Tony Corman, featuring top Bay Area musicians playing an all-original book of arrangements.
