The City of Berkeley is advertising the Restrooms in Right of Way: Channing Way-Telegraph Ave Project, Specification No. 23-11552-C. Bids will be received at the General Services Division of the Finance Department of the City of Berkeley, 2180 Milvia Street, 3rd Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 until 2:00 pm on February 16, 2023.
The Engineer’s estimate for the work is $450,000.
The work under this contract is briefly summarized as follows:
Site improvements required for the installation of a pre-manufactured stand-alone bathroom structure, including ancillary work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.

Planholders List: Bidders are responsible for notifying Uriel Gonzalez, Junior Public Works Engineer, via email at UGonzalez@cityofberkeley.info to be included on the Planholders List. Please include the following in the email subject header: “Spec. 23-11552-C – Request to be included in project Planholders List."
In the body of the email, please state the Name of the Company Representative, Company Name, Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, and Email Address.
Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit: The City will conduct a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Zoom Conference. The location of work (sidewalk south of 2398 Telegraph Ave) is open to the public during normal business or daylight hours. It is recommended that potential bidders visit the site independently to review site conditions prior to bid. City will conduct a Pre-Bid Conference at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2023 through zoom.
