Check for current notices of changes to City services or facilities, including holidays and other closures.
City offices and facilities are closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.
The Vaccination Clinic will be closed from Tuesday, May 26, 2026, through Thursday, June 4, 2026. During this time, look for vaccinations through the My Turn Vaccine Locator. Services will resume Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Aquatic Park Water Quality: As of March 12,2026, the yellow advisory has been lifted with no exceedances per the State Water Quality standards.
Bacterial samples are collected weekly, usually on Tuesday mornings. The Parks Division updates this notice when there is a change in water quality.
The Berkeley Rides for Seniors and the Disabled (BRSD) program is not accepting new applications. Applications submitted prior to 3/1/2025 are on the waitlist and will receive a letter in the mail if approved.

The City is no longer accepting special event permit applications for new or expanded 2026 events. This does not affect returning Berkeley events or events already in the 2026 permitting queue. Permit applications are being accepted for 2027 events.
