The Berkeley Animal Shelter provides a safe haven for homeless pets from the cities of Berkeley, Albany, Piedmont, and Emeryville.
The City’s animal shelter provides adoption services, advice on animal-related topics, lost and found pet reports, and free or low-cost spay/neuter vouchers for Berkeley residents’ dogs and cats.

Support Berkeley’s Animal Shelter by volunteering your time, or with monetary or in-kind donations:
- Monetary donations: Send a check made out to the City of Berkeley to 1 Bolivar Dr, Berkeley, CA 94710.
- In-kind donations: towels, sheets, pillow cases, blankets. Please do not send us anything that is stuffed (no stuffed animals, pillows, or stuffed comforters).
