Ready to quit smoking or vaping? Join the City of Berkeley Tobacco Prevention Program for a free 8-session online quit-smoking and vaping class.
The class is open to adults 18 and older who live in the Bay Area. This course uses the American Lung Association’s Freedom From Smoking curriculum, an evidence-based tobacco cessation program designed to support adults in quitting cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, and other nicotine products.
Registration deadline: September 25
Class dates: October 6, 13, 20, 27, and 29; November 3, 10, and 17
Classes are held virtually. To register, email quitnow@berkeleyca.gov or call (510) 981-5330. Login information will be provided after registration.
Participants who complete the first five sessions and a brief survey may receive free nicotine patches and gum to support their quit journey and manage nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
