The Berkeley CareBridge Program is funded through Proposition 47 and is designed to reduce recidivism through connecting individuals leaving custody with immediate stabilization services, behavioral health support, transitional housing, and reentry coordination. The LAC meets quarterly to support transparency, community oversight, and alignment with the City’s Care First, Jails Last priorities. The committee includes members with lived experience, community leaders, service providers, and City staff.
