Join a conversation with Berkeley Police about how technology like license plate readers, security cameras, and more help support criminal investigations.
The Berkeley Police Department invites you to join us on January 15th, 3 pm - 4 pm at our Public Safety Building (2100 MLK Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA) for a conversation around how technology supports public safety and criminal investigations.
We will discuss how tools such as Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs), fixed PTZ cameras, drones, and community video streams work together to provide real-time crime analysis and enhance investigative capabilities.
The meeting will be held in person and will also be available remotely via Zoom (zoom link). Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how these technologies function, how they are used responsibly, and how they serve as effective resource multipliers for public safety.
We look forward to meeting with you and discussing these promising technologies with our community.
