Join us for disaster preparedness games, hands-on activities, and prizes.
Learn practical preparedness skills while having fun with the whole family. At the event, you'll get to:
- Try a digital fire extinguisher to practice responding to a fire in a safe, interactive setting
- Play preparedness-themed games that build practical disaster readiness skills
- Meet neighbors who are interested in and engaged with community preparedness efforts
- Meet emergency preparedness staff and ask questions about how to prepare your household for emergencies
You'll learn simple steps to prepare your household for disasters and connect with City resources that can help you get ready before an emergency happens.
The event helps residents build disaster preparedness skills in a fun, family-friendly setting. Whether you're just getting started or looking to refresh your preparedness knowledge, you'll leave with practical information and resources to help your household prepare for emergencies.
Preparedness Game Day is hosted by the Office of Emergency Services and Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE).
