The City of Berkeley Public Health Division is hosting a special Hepatitis B immunization clinic from May 19-21 as part of Hepatitis Awareness Month. Our clinic will be open 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-3:00 PM each day at the West Berkeley Family Wellness Center.
This clinic is available for children who qualify for the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC), including those who are uninsured, underinsured, Medi-Cal eligible or Alaska Native/American Indian, as well as adults who are uninsured or underinsured and meet eligibility requirements under the Vaccines for Adults Program (VFA 317).
Hepatitis B is a serious liver infection that can spread through blood or bodily fluids and may lead to chronic disease, liver damage, or cancer. Vaccination is the best way to protect both children and adults and reduce the spread in our community.
Please note: We have a limited supply of the vaccine. Appointments are encouraged.
