Join us for an annual block party with performances, kid's activities, free food, and connection to City staff and resources.
In collaboration with McGee Avenue Baptist Church, the City of Berkeley Recreation Division’s Teen Program is hosting the Stop the Violence National Night Out Block Party.
This block party features:
- Live performances – spoken word, singing, dancing, drumming
- Inflatables – Giant jumpers (for ages 5 to 14)
- Free Food – Hotdogs, burgers, veggie options, and beverages
- Carnival Games – 3-in-1 (ring toss, milk space, Ferris wheel toss)
- Informational Booths – Berkeley Police Department, Heart 2 Heart, Healthy Black Families, and more
The nearest public transit bus lines are #12, J, and F, and the event is within walking distance from Ashby BART. To find the route for your journey, use AC Transit's route planner. Or bike there, including on our bike boulevards.
