Join us for our first ever, Outdoor Nature Documentary Family Night, on Saturday, October 1st, at Shorebird Park Nature Center within the Berkeley Marina at 160 University Ave.
We will be viewing Disney's critically acclaimed film Oceans and plan to have a short discussion on ocean conservation before the movie.
The film will be shown on a large portable 20-foot by 12-foot inflatable movie screen with premium audio-visual movie equipment for outdoor cinemas.
Bring blankets, sleeping bags, snacks and/or low-back beach chairs with a maximum height of 9 inches off the ground, so the view of others is not blocked. A flashlight or headlamp makes walking out at the end of the night easier. This is an alcohol-free event.
Parking is available in the dirt lot behind Adventure Playground or the South Cove lot just to the east. Please, no parking in the L & M lots across the street from 160 University Ave.
To request an accommodation, please contact Anthony DeCicco at naturecenter@cityofberkeley.info or call or (510) 981-6720 at least two days before the movie date.
