Berkeley, California (Thursday, October 15, 2020) - On October 15th at 2:38 am, an officers spotted a vehicle speeding on San Pablo Avenue. When the officer stopped the vehicle and its driver, the officer discovered that the driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
When the officer searched the driver, the officer found a quantity of rock cocaine, heroin, three digital scales and over $1000 cash. Based on the manner of which the drugs were packaged as well as the small denominations of the money found is indicative of a person possessing the drugs for the purpose of selling them.
The driver (a 44-year-old Oakland man) was arrested on suspicion of several drug-related charges as well as violation of his probation.
