Berkeley, California (Thursday, November 12, 2020) - On November 4th at 4:49 pm, officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Shattuck Avenue and Allston Way. While investigating the incident, officers discovered that one of the drivers had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. When officers searched the driver’s vehicle, they found methamphetamine as well as personal identifying information for over ten different people.
Because of this, the driver (a 38-year-old Oakland man) was arrested on suspicion of identity theft, possession of narcotics, violation of probation as well as his outstanding warrant.
