Use an online workshop or survey to let us know how to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists who use Telegraph Avenue while improving bus speed and reliability.
The City is also seeking to integrate better truck and delivery loading zones on this section of Telegraph Avenue, which stretches from Dwight Way to Woolsey Street at the Oakland border.
Options include bus-only lanes and bus stop improvements, physically protected and separated bike lanes, crosswalks, curb management, and other improvements.
City staff will use the feedback to develop a concept design for City Council approval later this year.

telegraph feeds into an integrated southside
Over the past two years, the City has been transforming the Southside of campus to make it easier for thousands to move through the densest part of Berkeley.
These changes have included protected bike lanes, dedicated bus-only lanes, and pedestrian safety measures. Thousands now move more easily here by bike, scooter, foot, or bus.
Those changes particularly helped connections to downtown. The Telegraph Multimodal Corridor Project will provide another sustainable, comprehensive way for people to enter the area.
It also integrates ideas or priorities identified in the Berkeley Bicycle Plan, the City's Transit-First Policy, and the citywide Vision Zero Action Plan.
