Berkeley, California (Thursday, October 1, 2020) - On September 30th at 10:41 pm, officers spotted a vehicle stopped in the middle of Mabel Street (near 67th Street) with the engine running and the headlights off. When officers contacted the driver to investigate, they discovered that the driver had a suspended driver’s license. When officers searched the vehicle, they discovered a quantity of marijuana, psilocybin, heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, xanax as well as a loaded handgun with a high capacity magazine.
The driver (a 25-year-old Oakland man) was arrested on suspicion of several drug and weapon-related offenses.
