Avoid parking in areas where you don't have a residential permit. If you’re coming from out of town, use BART or AC Transit and find alternative modes like shared bicycles and scooters that reduce traffic and are better for our climate.
Parking fines for those without residential permits are $225 and tow-away areas have been added in various sections of Residential Parking Permit Zones B, D, F, G, I, and K. See larger images of the enforcement map and parking garage options.
Pay attention to parking restrictions
Enforcement hours on game days start as early as 8:00 am and last until 11:00 pm. Signs have been installed that reflect the gameday parking restrictions. View an enforcement map showing zones where unpermitted cars will be towed, face enhanced fines or doubled fines.

Drivers should pay particular attention to the posted tow-away signs in the restricted areas. Restricted parking will be in effect on several streets close to the stadium indicated on the enforcement map. Vehicles will be towed to a temporary lot, located at Fulton Street and Bancroft Way (West of Edwards Stadium). If you discover your vehicle has been towed, please proceed to the lot to pick it up.
Without a resident permit, there is no 2-hour parking on game days in Residential Parking Permit zones B, D, F, G, I, and K. Fines are $225 in these areas on game days.
Plan for alternate routes, delays
The following streets will be closed:
- Northbound traffic on Piedmont Avenue at Bancroft Way (at approximately 5:00 pm)
- Eastbound traffic on Durant Avenue at College Avenue (at approximately 5:00 pm)
- North- and Eastbound traffic on Piedmont Avenue at Channing Way (at approximately 5:00 pm)

Allow extra travel time through these areas.
Observe neighborhood parking rules
Game day parking overwhelms certain neighborhoods compared to other days and is especially true in areas closest to campus (Residential Parking Permit Zones B, D, and I). In addition, some parked cars blocked access to driveways.
