Berkeley, California (Monday, November 16, 2020) - On November 15th at 2:50 am, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Adeline Street and Alcatraz Avenue. When officers contacted the driver and passenger, they saw an open container of alcohol on the floorboard and over a dozen nitrous oxide canisters. When officers searched the vehicle, they discovered an assortment of drugs (17+ grams of Hydrocodone, 16+ grams of marijuana, 14+ grams of ecstasy, 8+ grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 5+ grams of Adderall, 4+ grams of cocaine, 2+ grams of Alprazolam, a small amount of LSD, two digital scales and cash.
The driver (a 30-year-old San Francisco woman) was arrested on suspicion of possessing narcotics for sale and other drug-related offenses.
