Willard Clubhouse is a vibrant neighborhood space for youth programs, classes, and community gatherings. Located in Willard Park, it features modern amenities that support recreation, learning, and connection.
A longtime home to after-school and summer programs, the clubhouse includes a large multipurpose room, a residential-style kitchen, and gender-inclusive restrooms. This makes it ideal for events, classes, and meetings.

History
Originally built in 1971, the Willard Clubhouse has long served as a hub for youth recreation in South Berkeley. Community input shaped its complete redesign. This update aims to better support local programs and events.

Rental Information
The Willard Clubhouse features space that can be reserved and rented by community members.

Full Community Room
Capacity: 231 Persons (standing room only), or 12 tables, 96 chairs
Community Room West (adjacent to lobby)
Capacity: 117 Persons (standing room only), or 6 tables, 48 chairs
Community Room East (adjacent to patio)
Capacity: 114 Persons (standing room only), or 6 tables, 48 chairs
Outdoor Terrace
Capacity: 20 Persons (standing room only)
Features: Paved patio, Benches, Outdoor electrical outlets
The Outdoor Terrace can be booked hourly with a Community Room reservation. Standalone Outdoor Terrace rentals are available in 4-hour time blocks: 7:30-11:30 am, 12:00-4:00 pm, 4:30-8:30 pm.
