King School Park offers a mix of open space and recreation amenities in North Berkeley. The toddler and school-age play areas are open to the public during the day. The tennis courts, basketball courts, running track, and turf field are available only when school is not in session.
Children can explore two enclosed play areas: one designed for toddlers, open during the day, and another for school-aged kids, featuring swings, a climbing net, and a slide. A small area with a reservable picnic table provides a spot for gatherings or birthday parties.
The park includes a portable restroom and a water fountain. A container-based pollinator garden lines the edge of the park near the school, adding greenery and seasonal color.
Located next to King Pool, the park is popular with families, neighbors, and athletes looking for space to play, relax, or move.
