The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bid for the Echo Lake ADA Camp Accessibility Upgrade Project. Construction of new accessible pathways and a single new accessible tent cabin at City of Berkeley Echo Lake Camp, located near South Lake Tahoe, California. The specifications and selection process are summarized in this invitation for bid (IFB). Bids must be received no later than 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. All responses must be in a sealed envelope and have “Echo Lake ADA Camp Accessibility Upgrade Project” and “Specification No. 23-11590-C” clearly marked on the outer most mailing envelope. Please submit one (1) unbound original and one (1) copy of the bid as follows:

No bids will be accepted after the date and time stated above. Submittal of Response by fax is NOT acceptable. Incomplete bids and bids which do not conform to the requirements specified herein, will not be considered. Issuance of the IFB does not obligate the City to award a contract, nor is the City liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation and submittal of bids for the subject work. The City retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The act of submitting a bid is a declaration that the bidder has read the IFB and understands all the requirements and conditions.
