Project Overview:

The City of Berkeley invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Fire Station #6 Remodel, Specification No. 26-11760-C at 999 Cedar Street, Berkeley, CA 94710.

The project scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Window repair and replacement;
  • ADA Upgrades; and
  • Ancillary work as described in the Contract Documents

California Contractor License Classification required:

Class B - General Building Contractor

Engineer’s Estimate: $410,000

Plans and Specifications are enclosed and available on the City of Berkeley’s website at Bid & Proposal Opportunities | City of Berkeley (berkeleyca.gov).

Planholders List: Bidders are responsible for notifying Priya Chopra, via email at PChopra@Berkeleyca.gov to be included on the Planholders List. Please include the following in the email subject header: “Planholders list for Specification No. 26-11760-C for Fire Station #6 Remodel”.

In the body of the email, please state the Name of the Company Representative, Company Name, Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, and Email Address.

Addendum #1 as of November 20, 2025.

 

Pre-Bid Site Conference:

A non-mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held at 999 Cedar Street at 11:30AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and/or visit the project site prior to bidding. The location of work is not open to the public.
