The City of Berkeley is advertising FY 2026 Curb Ramp & Sidewalk Repair Project, Specification No. 26-11764-C. Bids will be received at the General Services Division of the Finance Department of the City of Berkeley, 2180 Milvia Street, 3rd Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 until 2:00 PM on February 3, 2026.
The Engineer’s estimate for the work is $4,530,000.
The work of this contract is divided into two bid packages, “Package A” and “Package B”, briefly summarized as follows:
Curb Ramp Replacement– “Package A”
The work done under this component includes but is not limited to: traffic control; protection of underground utilities; implementation of storm water pollution controls; adjustments of survey monument and utility covers; root pruning; tree protection; tree removals; stump grinding; removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk, valley gutter, and curb & gutter; topsoil placement; curb ramp replacement; storm drain infrastructure removal and replacement; conform paving; curb painting.
Sidewalk Repairs – “Package B”
The work done under this component includes but is not limited to: traffic control; protection of underground utilities; implementation of storm water pollution controls; adjustments of survey monument and utility covers; root pruning; tree protection; tree removals; stump grinding; removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk, driveway, valley gutter, and curb & gutter; topsoil placement; curb ramp replacement; storm drain infrastructure removal and replacement; curb painting; water supply pipe repair; conform paving.
California Contractor License Classification required:
A General Engineering, or
C-8 Concrete Contractor
