Berkeley School Break Camps

When school is out for Spring Break, Winter Break, or Staff Development Day, Berkeley recreation leaders offer fun, active programs for kids ages 5 to 14. These day- or week-long camps feature sports, arts, outdoor adventures, and more. Most camps offer AM and PM care for an additional fee. All camps require registration (no drop-ins).

Upcoming school break camps

• Frances Albrier School’s Out Super Fun Camp. Grades K-5. October 5 and October 30. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. $35 per day.  
  Frances Albrier Community Center, 2800 Park Street 
  Single-day camp with games, creative art projects, sports, and more. AM and PM extended care is available for an additional fee.
• Adventure Playground & Nature Center Camp. Ages 5-12. November 23-25. 9:00 am-3:00 pm. $186.
  Shorebird Nature Center, 160 University Avenue
  Participants will explore the Berkeley Waterfront and play in Adventure Playground.
• Live Oak School’s Out Super Fun Camp. Grades K-5. November 23-25. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. $35 per day.  
  Live Oak Community Center, 1301 Shattuck Avenue 
  Thanksgiving Break camp with games, creative art projects, sports, and more. AM and PM extended care is available for an additional fee.
• James Kenney School’s Out Super Fun Camp. Grades K-5. December 21-24, December 28-31. 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. $35 per day.  
  James Kenney Community Center, 1720 Eighth Street 
  Winter Break camp with games, creative art projects, sports, and more. AM and PM extended care is available for an additional fee.
