Dredging will take place at the marina entrances and at shallow locations within the inner harbor.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
The City of Berkeley will continue maintenance dredging in the Berkeley Marina starting in August 2025. Dredge areas include the marina entrance and shallow areas within the inner harbor. Dredging is expected to last through the end of November. Markers will be placed around anchor lines if used by the dredge and boaters are cautioned to exercise safe boating at all times.
Work hours within the entrance channel will be 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but have reduced hours when dredging in the inner harbor.
