WHAT'S HAPPENING
This project was completed in March, 2026.
F and G docks, originally constructed in the 1990s, have served the marina community for more than two decades. Over time, the original wooden decking has become weathered, faded, and splintered.
To enhance safety, appearance, and longevity, the City replaced the existing wooden decking on F and G docks with new, high-quality composite decking. Composite materials have already been used successfully on other docks within the marina and have demonstrated superior durability and performance compared to traditional wood.
This improvement project extended the lifespan of the dock system for a safer, more sustainable marina for years to come.
