John Hinkel Park Storm Drain Improvements

This project rehabilitated a 30-inch diameter culvert conveying Blackberry Creek flows beneath John Hinkel Park. The culvert collects water from the open creek at the north edge of the amphitheater, runs beneath the amphitheater stage and play area, and discharges to the creek south of Somerset Place.

Rehabilitation was completed by slip-lining the existing corrugated metal pipe with a 24-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, restoring structural integrity and improving long-term performance.
