Measure T1 Street Improvements and Green Infrastructure: Monterey/Ward Project

Monterey Avenue, from Hopkins Street to The Alameda, spans approximately 3,000 linear feet. This project includes improvements to pavement condition, bicycle lanes, curb ramps and sidewalks. The project also includes improvements to two bus stop locations, high visibility crosswalks, ADA-accessibility upgrades and installation of porous pavers along the gutters on Ward Street to support green infrastructure.

Ward Street, from San Pablo Avenue to Acton Street, spans over 1,600 linear feet. While this project includes improvements to pavement condition, sidewalks and a high visibility cross walks, the highlight is the green infrastructure improvements in form of pervious concrete gutter along San Pablo Park.
