Renting Senior Centers
Rent a room at a Berkeley Senior Center for an upcoming meeting or event.
City of Berkeley Senior Centers feature space that can be reserved and rented by private community members, organizations, and City departments and commissions. Each facility has a large dining room, a multi-purpose room, and several medium and small classrooms available for rent.
Schedule a rental appointment
To rent space at a Berkeley Senior Center, please schedule a rental appointment. An appointment is required for all in-person rental inquiries and visits, including touring rental spaces, completing rental documentation, or delivering rental payments.

During your rental inquiry appointment, staff will give you a 15-minute tour of the facility and answer any questions you may have. You will review and sign the rental agreement and provide payment of facility rental fees. Payment is accepted by check, made out to The City of Berkeley.

Amenities at both Senior Centers include:
- Stage for performances and presentations to an audience of up to 200 people
- Classrooms suitable for meetings, classes and creative activities for up to 80 people
- Dining room for gatherings of up to 100 people
- Multipurpose Room for gatherings of up to 100 people
- Multipurpose Room / Dining Room combination for gatherings of up to 200 people
- Kitchen (restrictions apply)
- Tables and chairs available upon advance request (table linens not included)
- Some Audio / Visual equipment available upon advance request (restrictions apply)
- Parking lot available for use (restrictions may apply during weekdays)
