Beginning Monday, November 6, 2023, the City of Berkeley’s Health, Housing, and Community Services Department (HHCS) is soliciting written proposals for housing and community services. This Request for Proposal (RFP) covers four-year funding (July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2028) for programs and services that support low-income people in Berkeley. Approximately $10.9 million in funding is available.
Funding sources included in this RFP are:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
- General Fund (GF)
- Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)
- Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
- City of Berkeley Measure E (Measure E)
- HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) – American Rescue Plan Program (HOME-ARP)
- Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP)
All agencies who plan to submit a proposal(s) should attend the RFP Webinar at the following location and time:
