Join us at Willard Park to help plant a pollinator garden and support local habitat.
Volunteer alongside City staff and community members to install native plants that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. You can dig, plant, water, and learn how native gardens strengthen Berkeley’s urban ecosystem.
This planting supports Berkeley’s efforts to expand habitat, strengthen biodiversity, and create climate-resilient green spaces in neighborhood parks.
All ages welcome. Tools and guidance provided.
Schedule:
- 10:00- 10:30: Welcome, join into groups, sort out tools and review safety.
- 10:30-1:00: Plant and water
- 1:00- 2:00: Clean up
Getting here: The planting event will occur closest to Derby Street, the North West side of the park near tennis courts and behind Potter's wall.
Parking: street parking is available around the entire park and surrounding areas.
