Use survey, interactive web map to give feedback

Share your experiences at a virtual meeting to help make Berkeley a city where bicycling is safe, easy, and convenient.
Other upcoming ways to get involved and share feedback are: listening sessions, bicycling and rolling tours, a park pop-up event, or a short survey.
These efforts are a part of the City's Bicycle Plan update and will help us develop an updated bicycle network to make it easier, safer, and more comfortable to get around by bicycle, scooter, skateboard, and other personal wheeling devices.
Join us for our April 28 virtual community meeting
Whether you're interested in bicycling more or you bicycle every day, your feedback is important to us. Join our first meeting on April 28.
Should we change any recommendations from the last plan? Should we add anything new? Tell us where and how the City can improve existing bikeways.

Purpose of the bike plan
In 2016 and 2017, we asked you to help develop the current City of Berkeley Bicycle Plan. The vision of the Bicycle Plan is to make Berkeley a model bicycle-friendly City where bicycling is a safe, attractive, easy, and convenient form of transportation and recreation for people of all ages and bicycling abilities.
The project team will develop an updated bicycle policy framework that will ultimately guide the City's priorities and decisions, making it easier, safer, and more comfortable to bicycle and roll in Berkeley. In fall 2022, we will update project recommendations and prepare a Public Draft Plan based on your feedback. You will be able to review the Public Draft Plan and let us know your feedback. The Bicycle Plan update is scheduled for adoption in 2023.
Once the updated Plan is complete, it will include a list of project recommendations that will help Berkeley:
- Improve your bicycling and rolling routes
- Fix areas that make it challenging for you to bicycle or roll
- Make bicycling and rolling safer and more comfortable for people of all ages and abilities
Stay informed about this project by visiting the project webpage, email us with questions or comments, sign up for the project email list - and join us for our first meeting on April 28.
