Dear Bidder:
The City of Berkeley is soliciting invitations for bid for the purchase of Solid Waste Metal Containers (front & rear loading). The specifications and selection process are summarized in this invitation for bid (IFB). Bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Bids are to be sent via email with the “Specification No. 23-11611 and “Solid Waste Metal Containers (Front & Rear Loading).” Clearly indicated on the subject line of the email. Please submit one (1) PDF of the bid/offer form and attachments with the filenames saved as, “Bid - 23-11611 Solid Waste Metal Containers (Front & Rear Loading).”, as well as a completed pricing sheet (Excel Exhibit P) with the filenames saved as, “Pricing Sheet – 23-11611 Solid Waste Metal Containers (Front & Rear Loading).”

No bids will be accepted after the date and time stated above. Submittal of Response by fax is NOT acceptable. Incomplete bids and bids which do not conform to the requirements specified herein, will not be considered. Issuance of the IFB does not obligate the City to award a contract, nor is the City liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation and submittal of bids for the subject work. The City retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The act of submitting a bid is a declaration that the bidder has read the IFB and understands all the requirements and conditions.

Answers to questions will not be provided by telephone or email.
