Cedar Rose Park Playground Renovation

The Cedar Rose Park Playground Renovation Project aims to renovate the children's play areas within the park and make associated site improvements. Initial conceptual designs were presented at community meetings in 2023. Based on the feedback and input we heard, we presented final concepts at a third community meeting in late 2024. The ages 5-12 playground, located on the north side of the park along Rose St, will be constructed first. Construction is slated to begin this summer and last approximately 8 months. This phase of construction will include replacement of the ages 5-12 playground, new site furnishings, accessibility improvements, and a new picnic area. See renderings under Documents below. Funding for construction of the ages 2-5 playground is not yet allocated.
