WHAT'S HAPPENING
Nestled in the Berkeley Hills, Glendale La Loma Park is a terraced park located east of the Berkeley Rose Garden and Codornices Park. Current amenities at the park include a small parking lot, an enclosed ages 2-5 playground, ages 5-12 playground, a baseball field, a half basketball court, restroom, lawn, and open space. On a clear day, the park offers expansive views of Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay.
Based on feedback from over 170 community members, the Glendale La Loma Upper Park Improvements project developed a Preferred Conceptual Design for future improvements to the playgrounds and surrounding area. To learn more about the process in developing the Preferred Concept Plan and how public feedback shaped it, please review the Community Meeting #3 Presentation.
Funding for design development, permitting, and construction is not yet allocated.
To be included in future correspondence and notifications of project meetings or status, please contact the project team, with subject “Please add me to Glendale La Loma Upper Park Improvements email list” and provide your preferred contact information.
