By registering your August 5 event with the City, you’ll be able to request visits from City staff. The location will also be added to a citywide map, which allows neighbors you don’t know to come meet you and others.
If you’d like to also close down your street for a block party, you’ll need to apply by July 21 for a permit – a form which outlines requirements to keep neighborhood peace. (We’ve waived the usual $15 fee for the evening of August 5.)
