Commendations for any member of the City of Berkeley Police Department are forwarded to the Chief of Police and are formally documented with the employee's direct supervisor and in his/her personnel file when appropriate.

Fill out a complaint form to formally file your complaint with Internal Affairs. Internal Affairs will investigate your complaint and make a recommendation to the police chief regarding discipline for the officer.
