Fall 2026 Afterschool Program Registration Dates
City-run afterschool program registration opens on Wednesday, July 1, at 9:00 am for Berkeley residents. Non-residents can register starting on Wednesday, July 8, at 9:00 am. Register through the online recreation portal.
Register your child for afterschool programs that provide supervised care during the school year.
Programs are for elementary-age children and offer time to play, create, and connect with others after school. Activities may include games, arts, outdoor play, and group time, with some programs offering performing arts or therapeutic recreation.
Programs change each term. Fees vary and financial help is available for eligible residents.
