Aquatic Park features a large lagoon for boating, as well as walking and biking trails, reservable picnic areas, and disc golf.

Bateman Mall Park offers a large grassy area with a tot play area surrounded by trees.  

 Becky Temko Tot Park offers a playground for tots and a picnic area.

Berkeley Way Mini-Park offers play areas for both tots and school-age children.

Cedar Rose Park offers many recreational opportunities, such as soccer, basketball, and tennis, along with play areas for both tots and school-age children and nearby community gardens.

César Chávez Park, built on the site of a former landfill, offers a wide range of recreational opportunities in a marina setting with spectacular views of the three bay bridges, Alcatraz, and Angel Island.

Charlie Dorr Mini-Park provides a tot playground, picnic areas with gazebo, and lawn area.

Codornices Park offers a wide array of recreational and play opportunities in a beautiful hillside setting.

Contra Costa Rock Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing beginner level rock climbing, evidence of early Native American Indian life and fantastic views.

Cragmont Rock Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing great views and challenges for rock climbing beginners.

Dorothy Bolte Park, with its beautiful views looking down from the hillside, offers play areas and places to picnic.

Frederick Mini-Park offers a simple green area for moments of respite.

George Florence provides newly renovated playgrounds for tots and school-age children and area to picnic. 

Glendale La Loma Park, located on a terraced hillside with great views, offers a variety of opportunities for play and recreation.

Great Stoneface Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing great views and challenges for rock climbing beginners.

Greg Brown Park offers a variety of opportunities for play and recreation.

 Grizzly Peak Park provides a half basketball court, slide, sandpit, and picnic table.

Grotto Rock Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing great views and challenges for early-level rock climbing.

Grove Park offers recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a gym, as well as tot and school-age play areas.

Halcyon Commons is a community-designed mini-park featuring a large grassy area surrounded by flowering shrubs and trees, a picnic area, and a tire swing.

Harrison Park provides recreational opportunities at two fields for different field sports and nearby skateboarding and in-line skating at the Skate Park.

Haskell-Mabel Mini-Park offers a tot and school-age play area with a unique stonewall with stair and ramp access.

Located at the Berkeley Marina, Horseshoe Park offers natural wind shelter and a direct view of the Berkeley Hills.

Indian Rock Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing great views and challenges for early-level rock climbing.

James Kenney Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, and a gym, as well as tot and school-age play areas.  

John Hinkel Park, located in a beautiful hillside oak grove offers a range of recreational opportunities as well as an amphitheater for outdoor performances. 

King School Park is owned by Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) and maintained by the City of Berkeley. Through a joint-use agreement, the public can access play areas, courts, and a running track outside school hours, with daytime access to the tot play area.

Live Oak Park, the site of several community festivals, offers a range of recreational opportunities, with basketball and tennis courts, a community center, and tot and school-age play areas.  

Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, landmarked in 1997 as well as the site of many Berkeley festivals and special events, offers a large lawn for sitting and picnicking along with many special features.

Monkey Island is a flat open lawn area with landscaping providing neighborhood green space.

Mortar Rock Park is one of Berkeley’s rock parks in the Northbrae area, providing great views and challenges for early-level rock climbing.

Oak Park is a landscaped open space offers a pleasant place to sit.

The Ohlone Greenway offers a tree-lined path with gardens, playgrounds, and easy connections for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.

Ohlone Park is a wonderful five-block long stretch of green space. Ohlone includes many recreational activities, tot and school-age play areas, a community garden, and an off-leash dog area.

Old City Hall Park is a small green space in Berkeley’s Civic Center, with trees and lawns set against the Maudelle Shirek Building.

Presentation Park is a small open space with lawn and picnic area. The play area is owned by the home owners’ association.

Prince Street Mini-Park offers opportunities for picnicking and play.

Remillard Park offers great views and challenges for early-level rock climbing as well as a school-age play area.

San Pablo Park offers a wide range of recreational activities for all ages, from baseball and basketball to younger children’s play areas.

Shorebird Park, situated along the southern shoreline at the Berkeley Marina provides great views, the fascinating Shorebird Nature Center, picnicking sites, and children’s play areas.

Sixty-Third Street Mini-Park offers a school-age play area and picnic space.

Solano-Peralta Park offers areas for sitting, picnicking, and sand play.

Strawberry Creek Park offers recreational opportunities, including basketball, tennis, and volleyball, as well as a school-age play area and space for picnicking.

Terrace View Park, located high in the hills and comprised of three levels, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, space for picnicking, and tot and school-age play areas.

Thousand Oaks School offers public access to the tot lot on its property.

Virginia-McGee Totland offers a wide range of play features for children and houses a clubhouse decorated with a beautiful mural.

West Street Pathway is a wide, tree-lined trail that connects neighborhood parks and provides a smooth route for walking, biking, and rolling through Northwest Berkeley. 

Willard Park is the main neighborhood park in Southeast Berkeley and includes a large grassy area in addition to a clubhouse and tot lot developed in partnership with the community.
